I know that feeling all too well as our family lived the nightmare of our son’s addiction for fifteen years. Basket case described my emotions for many years as he vacillated between sobriety and relapse.

One night I discovered a message of hope in Jeremiah 30 and 31 and it changed my life…and ultimately my son’s. The encouragement I found renewed my spirit, and I felt hope for a new day bubble up in my heart for the first time in a long time.

This website is for you, the parent, spouse, or friend of an addict. Here you will receive messages of hope and words of encouragement for the days when you think you can’t take one more step.

You will also find links to resources and speaking topics as your browse the site. And I’d love to share a message with you at a retreat, conference, or business meeting.

One of my favorite scripture verses is 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

You are my so that. The reason I write and speak about our family’s journey so that you will know you are not alone. You have someone cheering you on, one day at a time, to cling to the hope we have in Christ.
